Taste and See

The Bible says “Taste and see that Jehovah is good; blessed is the man who trusts in Him” (Psalm 38:4).

Beloved Reader, if you are reading this then it is no accident. I want you to know that God loves you no matter who you are or what you have done. When Daddy looks at you today He sees the prefect work of His Beloved Son, Yeshua. In Jesus, your sin debt has been over compensated.

Let me now invite you to taste and see that Yahweh is good. Beloved in the ministry of Jesus, the blessing always came first, and that was when men saw the perfect love of the Father in the eyes of the Savior and were led to repentance.

True repentance is not when you dig up all your past sins; the Greek word used for repentance in the New Testament is metanoea, which means to change the way you think. Look away from your sinful nature and look to the perfection of Jesus.

Beloved it is through faith in His work that we are being justified FREELY through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus (Romans 3:24).

Jesus understands you, He knows you because it was He who formed you and it was for you that He gave His life as a propitiation for your sins (Romans 3:25). The bible says “For in that He Himself has suffered, having been tempted, He is able to rescue those who are being tempted” (Hebrews 2:18). Jesus knows exactly what you are going through and He is not set to punish you. Instead His arms are wide open to receive you and love you; to give you the name of a bar Yahweh, a son of God; to bless you beyond what you deserve.

Come as you are. You need not clean up your act or your conscience before coming to God. You do not clean yourself before taking a bath, do you? It is the bath that cleanses you; the washing off of filth by the water is what makes you clean. Likewise, it is Jesus’ precious blood that liberates you (Romans 3:25, 5:9) from the filth of this world and this cleansing is a continuous process as soon as you step out of the darkness into His perfect light. (1 John 1:7)

So come, taste and see that He is good. Call out to Him today. Tell Him of troubles, worries and cast all your cares on Him (1 Peter 5:7). And as surely as the Lord lives, I tell you that you will see the power of God in your life; His Shalom peace will fill you and His loving embrace will squeeze your troubles away. Then His grace will lead you to true repentance, metanoea. At that time when you are thanking Him pray this prayer

Heavenly Father,
I come to you in the name of Jesus!
Your Word says, “….the one who comes to Me I will in no way cast out.” John 6:37
So I know You won’t cast me out, but you take me in, and I thank you for it.
You said in Your word, “…..if you confess the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved” “For everyone, "whoever shall call on the name of the Lord will be saved."” (Romans 10:9,13)
I believe in my heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
I believe He was raised from the dead for my justification. I am calling upon His name – the Name of Jesus – so I know, Father, that You save me now.
Your word says, “For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth one confesses unto salvation” (Romans 10:10)
I do believe with my heart and I confess Jesus now as my Lord.
Therefore I am saved!!
Thank you Daddy!!!
Amen!!

Wow!! Welcome to the family of God (Romans 8:14)! You now have the Holy Spirit within you to guide you and He will never leave you (Hebrews 13:5). Your spirit has been renewed (2 Corinthians 5:17) and now as you read His word and meditate on it His Spirit will direct your path (Proverbs 3:6).

Beloved in Jesus you are highly favored, deeply loved, abundantly blessed!!

Shalom (peace be unto you) in the name of Sar Shalom, the Prince of Peace, Yeshua!! Hallelujah!!
